Suzanne Ghuzzi Silva is a board-certified medical illustrator specializing in medical and scientific illustration. Her work has been published in medical textbooks for students and health professionals in a variety of styles and subject matter.
Suzanne received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2008 with a degree in Communication Arts and a minor in Biology. In 2010 she received her Master of Arts degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center with a degree in Biomedical Communications. Her thesis, Neonatal Resuscitation Program Flashcards, is currently used for professional training in the Newborn Nursery department of Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. She has been a Certified Medical Illustrator (CMI) since 2013.
